What happened here?
After the first full day swimming free in the tank, students noticed one fish that clearly stood out. (Compare the "big guy" to the other more average bellied fish in the previous day's picture.) What happened here?
Rebeka,That was a great observation. Big fish do eat smaller fish and sometimes even small fish eat smaller fish. It is possible this is what has occurred. If you or I ate that much we'd get sick. Keep an eye on the big fish and see if he survives. Since the fish are fed every day there in little predation (fish eating each other) in a tank, but in nature this is an every day occurrence.- Mr Dinkel

WHY IS THE FISH IN THE TANK SO BIG LIKE IT JUST ATE ONE FULL BIG GROWN UP FISH.
